About

Hello from Ryan Wagner and Morgan McCune! We are currently vagabonding in our mid 20s in an attempt to self actualize, see our HUGE country, get a fit bod, and to better understand why people seem to think this lifestyle is so cool.

Thank you for following our journey and giving a little more meaning to our adventures by reading our humble little blog. Chances are you are here because we met you along the way or because we love you and are lucky to have you in our lives already!

First, we biked from the Georgia coast to San Diego, California on a 1984 Schwin Le Tour and a 1990 Trek 520, both from Craigslist. It took us 63 days of pedaling, many ups and downs (literal hills and many emotions), a lot of food for fuel, and the kind support of friends and many strangers.

Now, we are hiking from (almost) the Canadian border to to Mexican border, going through Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and finally New Mexico on the Continental Divide Trail. We are carrying our lives on our back and learning how to go with the rhythms of the natural world, how to hitch hike, and mostly, how to walk all day long nearly every day. It’s a work in progress!

We are supporting ROMP, Range of Movement Program, to use our gift of mobility to help provide prosthetics to people in need in Ecuador. You can support us and them by donating here: http://Give.rompglobal.org/cdt
